Auditions have been set for the production of Return to Sender. A fast-paced farce written and directed by local writer Scott Weingart. Show dates are March 11th- 13th.

Auditions will be Sunday January 23rd from 2pm-4pm and Monday January 24th from 6pm-8pm with callbacks if needed Tuesday January 25th from 6pm-8pm. Director Scott Weingart is looking for four adult male main characters and three adult female main characters and one walk on adult male character and one adult female walk on character.

Synopsis of Return to Sender

Somewhere in the 1970’s, ordinary secretary Margie-Ruth Hanson is having a most extraordinary day! Bad boyfriend, bad boss, bad 1970’s fad water diet, and then she is abducted by a bizarre but harmless 1970’s political activist group. When she proves to be a less than agreeable house guest, the bumbling gang of anarchists just wants to stamp “Return to Sender” on her forehead and give her back to her boss. But, will he take her back?

Along the way to a happy ending, this fast-paced action comedy by local writer Scott Weingart offers chills, thrills, chase scenes and good natured jabs at the fads and follies that were the 1970’s. Fondue anyone?
